CALL FOR SPEAKERS FOR NATIONAL MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION DRUG CONGRESS:

The Medicare Congress announces its call for presentation and speaker proposals. Of particular interest are presentation on the following topics:

  • The Roles of CMS and FDA as Purchasers/Regulators
  • The Roles of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and PBMs
  • The Roles of Health Plans and Providers
  • The Ramifications for Employer-Sponsored Retiree Drug Coverage
  • The Medicare Endorsed Prescription Drug Discount Card
  • The Drug Reimportation Debate
  • The Implications for Pharmaceutical Market Structure and Profitability

Most well received will be proposals relating to sophisticated analysis of particular technical aspects of the new legislation.

Presentation and speaker proposals should be set forth in a brief email. The email should list proposed topic name, a brief description of the topic, proposed speaker(s) name(s), and brief description of speaker qualifications. Proposals will be considered as received.

All proposal should be sent on or before: Friday, December 12, 2003.
