WASHINGTON DC USA -- HEALTHCARE UPDATE NEWS SERVICE™ -- MAY 10, 2010: The Fourth National Medicare RAC Summit, www.RACSummit.com, to be held September 13-14, 2010 at the Crystal City Marriott in Arlington, VA today issued a Call for Proposals. The Summit is especially interested in proposals from hospitals with lessons learned during the national implementation of the RAC program or model resource material that other hospitals could use. Proposals may be submitted by clicking here. The deadline for submission is April 30, 2010.

Those registrants who desire to take a deeper dive into the subject matter of the conference may participate in the Medicare RAC Certificate Program which includes preconference readings, attendance at the RAC preconference boot camp and Summit and successful completion of a post conference online examination.

By arranging to license online group access to the Medicare RAC Certificate Program, health care providers subject to RAC audits can implement an organization-wide online training program on preparing for, responding to and appealing a RAC audit. An organization's training coordinator can assign and track online participation. Successful completion of the training can be evidenced by passing the post conference certificate examination.
