The theme of the 14th annual Conference is From Volume to Value in the New World Order: What Now? With the new presidential administration vowing to "repeal and replace" the Affordable Care Act, many are anxious about the future of value-based healthcare. Regardless of the political jockeying, however, industry leaders agree that alternative payment models are the key to improving healthcare quality and controlling spiraling costs. And CAPG is working to ensure the move to value continues.
With that in mind, CAPG's Annual Conference 2017 is designed for all who are committed to staying the course. The new three-day format offers concentrated learning from industry experts, with both the high level politico-economic forecast for healthcare and practical knowledge to thrive in risk-based contracting and care delivery. The plenary sessions will feature:
- Ian Morrison, author, consultant, and futurist
- Dr. Robert Moffit, Senior Fellow, Center for Health Policy Studies, Heritage Foundation
- Panel -- Healthcare Post-Election: Whither the Value Movement?
You'll also choose from a range of super sessions and breakout sessions, where you can learn about determining the right amount of risk to take; the outlook for government programs; ways your group can prepare for MACRA's financial impact; and much more. Continuing education credits will be available for many sessions. Please see the conference agenda for the latest schedule and details.
CAPG's Annual Conference also includes their signature Exhibit Fair and Strolling Dinner and other outstanding networking opportunities. You'll make valuable connections with decision makers and colleagues at leading physician organizations nationwide.
