A Louisiana federal district court judge on Tuesday (Nov. 30) temporarily halted CMS' COVID-19 vaccine requirement for health care workers nationwide until a lawsuit from 14 states over the rule has been dealt with. The decision came the same day that the federal government appealed a Missouri district court judge's separate move to block the rule in 10 states while a lawsuit is ongoing, saying the court should keep the mandate in place until a higher court hears its appeal.
