WASHINGTON DC USA -- HEALTHCARE UPDATE NEWS SERVICE™ -- APRIL 16, 2026: On April 30, Health Affairs Publishing will host a 2-hour symposium exploring how provider prices affect commercial health care spending, what drives price variation and growth, and how policymakers and stakeholders can interpret the evidence.
The symposium will consist of three panels:
- How do provider prices contribute to overall commercial health spending growth, particularly in the hospital setting?
- How can we understand what drives high and rising commercial prices?
- What is the policy response?
The speakers will cover some of the core questions that have animated Health Affairs Forefront's Provider Prices In The Commercial Sector series. We are grateful to Arnold Ventures for supporting the series.
