PHILADELPHIA, PA -- HEALTHCARE UPDATE NEWS SERVICE -- APRIL 21, 2026: The Jefferson College of Population Health is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for its upcoming Intelligent Teaching: AI in Health Professions Education Live Virtual Conference which will be held on October 6-7, 2026, 10 am-3 pm EST.
CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the landscape of health professions education—from personalized learning and simulation to assessment and clinical decision-making. This live, virtual conference invites health professions educators, scholars, and innovators to explore how Al can be leveraged to enhance teaching, learning, and institutional effectiveness across health disciplines. Our goal is to equip health professions educators with actionable competencies to integrate Al into their practice. We welcome proposals that are interdisciplinary, practice-oriented, and grounded in evidence or innovation.

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS
We welcome proposals that are interdisciplinary, practice-oriented, and grounded in evidence or innovation. Proposals must be
complete for consideration. Proposals must also address one or more of the Priority Topic Areas outlined below, and must be
designed to adhere to one of the Categories and Formats provided.
All accepted presenters will be permitted to attend the conference free of charge.
PROPOSALS
We invite submissions for the following formats:
- Plenary Session (45 minutes): Individual, panel, or group presentations relevant to the entire audience, could include multi-
perspective conversations on emerging issues, challenges, or innovations
- Concurrent Session (25 minutes, including 20-minute presentation and 5-minute Q&A): Brief reports on current practices
- Skill Building or Tech Demo Workshop (1.5 or 3 hours): sessions focused on skill-building, tool demonstrations, or
collaborative problem-solving; Vendor or faculty-led showcases of Al tools or platforms with educational applications
- Poster: Visual displays of research, innovation, or pilot projects
