Dear Colleagues,
As compliance professionals in the medical device industry, we know that while many of our challenges overlap with those of our pharmaceutical colleagues, our world also presents unique opportunities and complexities.
Whether we're navigating interactions with healthcare professionals, supporting commercial innovation, addressing quality and compliance intersections, leveraging AI and data analytics, or adapting to an evolving regulatory landscape, our role continues to expand and evolve. That's one of the reasons I value the Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Ethics & Compliance Congress.
Over the years, the Congress has grown into a forum that truly reflects both industries. The Medical Device Executive Steering Committee works alongside the Pharmaceutical Compliance Forum to help shape programming that addresses the issues most relevant to medical device compliance professionals. Our goal is to ensure that attendees leave with practical insights, new perspectives, and ideas they can apply within their own organizations.
This year's program includes dedicated medical device programming, cross-industry discussions, and opportunities to learn from compliance leaders, legal counsel, regulators, and government officials. Just as valuable are the conversations that happen outside the meeting rooms—sharing experiences with peers who understand the same challenges and are willing to discuss what has worked, what hasn't, and where our profession is headed.
One of the strengths of this Congress has always been its ability to bring together diverse perspectives. Learning from our pharmaceutical colleagues often sparks new ideas for device organizations, just as our experiences can offer valuable insights to others. Those cross-industry conversations are one of the many reasons this meeting continues to be such a valuable experience year after year.
If you haven't attended before, I encourage you to join us this October in Washington, DC If you're a returning attendee, I think you'll find this year's program to be one of the strongest yet.
You can review that Congress agenda here: Congress Agenda. Note that the Congress early bird registration discount ends this Friday, August 14.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Warm regards,
